The Singles Ward!

Dad was called to serve in the bishopric of the singles ward in October of 2011. We aren't sure how long he will be there, but we are loving being a part of this wonderful ward! You are the "Trophy Child"! Everyone wants your attention, and you have everyone's constant attention. Girls beg me to watch you during second hour, this is a nice opportunity for me to be able to actually listen in a class every once in a while. Sometimes during the last Hymn in sacrament meeting i will let you run up and sit on dad's lap. You love sitting on dad's lap.. especially if he has his ipad to show you his cool videos on. You would sit and watch dad's videos for hours on end if we would let you!

1-2-3 Strikes you're out!

Benson, we want you so much to love baseball.. so far things seem to be working out because you always wear your baseball helmet. We bought you a baseball tee so you could start practicing at a young age, and you are pretty good! We are very impressed!

whenever i would pull out the camera, you would sit down and stare at me.. i finally got you to hit the ball once so i could catch it on video, but you never stood up.. silly Benson!

Let it snow!

Every morning since it got cold this year, dad has jumped out of bed and peeked out the window in hopes to find it has snowed. Finally, one Saturday morning in January, it had snowed about an inch. Yippee! We all bundled up and went outside to play before it had a chance to melt that afternoon.

No matter the weather, you absolutely loved being outside! even if your hands and face were bright red and there was a risk of you getting frostbitten, you would scream and cry when we picked you up to take you inside!

Randomly throughout the day, you would grab your boots and coat and bring them to me as to say, "let's go play outside... please!" :)

A little catching up!

You were blessed by your father James Charles Little on 10-10-10.. pretty cool huh? It was a beautiful blessing. (I have it on file for whenever you would like to read it)

When you were only 3 months old, you were able to hold onto our fingers and stand up all by yourself. You also started reaching for everything and loved playing with your hair. On December 15th 2010, you rolled over all by yourself for the first time.

You went to the Jordon World Circus with us when you were only 5 months old. You were fascinated by all the lights, colors and noise for about the first 10 minutes.. then you slept through pretty much the rest of the show. (this was mom's first circus too)

On Sunday April 3rd, 2011 (7 months old) you crawled for the very first time. It was like night and day.. you couldn't crawl, and then you could!

When you were 8 months old, we left you with Aunt Julie while we went on a cruise with Maina and Papa and the family. We were gone for a whole week and missed you so so much! Aunt Julie fell in love with you and even had a photographer come take pictures of you for us to have. We love Aunt Julie!

This picture to the left is Grandma and Grandpa's favorite picture of you! They can just see you being the best football player someday when you are older!

You started walking around when you were about 9 or 10 months old.. at this point, there was no stopping ya! :)

Welcome to the Little family!

Unfortunately I waited 16 months before starting this little book, but I was sure it would be better late than never! Hopefully I can catch up on all the wonderful little things you have done and hopefully show you how incredibly happy you make us as parents!

Benson, You were born in the Orem Community Hospital on August 23rd, 2010 at 6:59am. You weighed 7 lbs. 3 oz. and were 21 inches long. You were the tannest and most beautiful little baby anyone had ever seen. You looked just like your daddy and that made mommy so so happy! We stayed in the hospital for 3 days before we brought you home. We had no idea what we were doing, but as time went buy we kinda figured it out. You were a wonderful little baby! You slept well, and ate well, and even though you took a while to smile, we knew you were happy with us.
